The US attacked three Iranian tankers at once

The US military struck three Iranian oil tankers on September 5 after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched ballistic missiles at US Navy ships. According to CENTCOM, two tankers were disabled and the third, which was empty, was completely destroyed.
This was reported by the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
The agency said the US aircraft carrier and guided missile destroyer evaded multiple attacks from Iran. No US service members were injured.
According to the command, the affected tankers were part of a shadowy network that helps finance Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its armed allies in the region.
“If you fire on 2 of our ships, we will inflict even greater economic losses on you – by destroying 3 of yours,” said CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper.
“Let the message to the IRGC be clear: If you shoot at two of our ships, we will impose an even higher economic cost —taking out three of yours. Recall that on the evening of August 30 and the night of August 31 , the United States and Iran exchanged strikes for the first time in over a month . The American military attacked Iranian launchers near the Strait of Hormuz, after which Tehran announced strikes on two American air bases in Jordan.
