The US has confirmed the death of the crew of a KC-135 aircraft after a crash in Iraq

All six crew members of a US KC- 135 tanker plane were killed in a crash in western Iraq.

This was reported by the US Central Command ( CENTCOM) on the social network X.

The report states that the plane crashed while flying over friendly airspace .​

“ All six crew members of a US KC- 135 tanker aircraft that crashed in western Iraq have been confirmed dead ,” CENTCOM said .

According to the military, the incident occurred while performing tasks as part of Operation Epic Fury . The causes of the accident are currently being investigated .

It was previously reported that Iran carried out a drone attack on a French military base in Makhmur, Iraq, on Thursday, March 12.

As a reminder, a private plane crashed during takeoff at Bangor Airport in Maine, USA. The incident occurred in a severe snowstorm, with 8 people on board.
