The US has denied a complete suspension of military aid to Ukraine

The US State Department assured that it did not stop all arms supplies to Ukraine, and that the Pentagon’s decision made the day before was just one situation.

This was stated by US State Department press secretary Tammy Bruce at a briefing, answering journalists’ questions about whether the cessation of supplies would complicate negotiations with Russia.

She noted that this would not become a factor, since arms supplies to Ukraine were not suspended, and called it “one event in one situation.”

Bruce added that US President Donald Trump has reaffirmed his continued commitment to Patriot missiles and the Pentagon has robust options to support Ukraine.

She stressed that one should not draw too broad conclusions from this decision, since aid to Ukraine continues.

Let us recall that the United States of America temporarily stopped deliveries of some anti-aircraft missiles and high-precision munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about the level of its own defense reserves.

As reported, after the news about the suspension of deliveries of part of the military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures that Washington continues to work on solutions.
