The US has predicted the end date for the war in Ukraine

US Vice President J.D. Vance said that the United States seeks to end the war in Ukraine within three to six months through diplomacy and international efforts.
He said this for Meet the Press on NBC News, RBC-Ukraine reports .
“This is a war and we want to stop the killing. The Russians have done a lot of things that we don’t like, a lot of civilians have died,” Vance assured.
He added that the United States has condemned Russian aggression against Ukraine from the very beginning.
According to him, current US President Donald Trump is actively working to resolve the war through diplomacy and has already done more than his predecessor Joe Biden.
“And whatever the outcome – the war will end in three or six months, hopefully no later – we should be proud that we have a president who is trying to stop the killing,” the US vice president noted.
Trump previously said that it would be clear within the next two weeks whether peace could be achieved in Ukraine . If that doesn’t happen, he warned of the possibility of finding “another approach” to resolving the war.
Recall that Trump’s peace strategy involves three steps : a meeting between Trump and Putin; a meeting between Trump and Zelensky; and a trilateral meeting involving the leaders of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia to finally discuss the agreement.
