The US is calling on the Trump administration to immediately resume arms supplies to Ukraine

The US House of Representatives has called on the administration of US President Donald Trump to resume arms supplies to Ukraine.

Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, wrote about this on social media .

He stressed that US military officials have concluded that providing Ukraine with critical weapons will not threaten US combat readiness. Therefore, it is necessary to immediately resume the supply process.

“The halting of arms supplies by Pentagon officials only weakens President Trump’s noble attempts to achieve peace,” he concluded.

As a reminder, the US authorities suspended the delivery of another package of weapons to Ukraine , citing possible risks of depletion of its own arsenals. At the same time, an analysis conducted by the Pentagon’s Joint Staff showed that providing assistance to Ukraine does not jeopardize the defense capability of the US Armed Forces.

Later, Donald Trump said that the US wants to help Ukraine with air defense amid the escalating situation with Russian attacks.
