The US continues to provide Ukraine with free intelligence to plan strikes on Russian military facilities and energy infrastructure. CIA Director John Ratcliffe plays a key role in maintaining this channel of support.
This is reported by The Atlantic .
According to journalists, Washington is transferring intelligence packages to Kyiv to plan strikes on Russian army positions in occupied territories and energy facilities in Russia.
Ratcliffe, according to the publication, supports providing US President Donald Trump with information about the situation on the front and the losses of the Russian army. In particular, we are talking about Russian losses, which, according to the publication’s estimates, may exceed 40,000 soldiers per month.
According to one Western intelligence official, demonstrating Russia’s losses and Ukraine’s ability to resist aggression helps maintain Trump’s support for Kyiv.
Journalists also draw attention to Ukraine’s attacks on Russian energy infrastructure. The weakening of the Russian oil sector may be in the economic interests of the United States, since a reduction in Russian oil exports could affect China and India, which remain major buyers of Russian raw materials.
The publication notes that Trump may view Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory as a way to weaken the Kremlin’s military potential and apply additional pressure before possible negotiations.
It was previously reported that Ukraine has significantly shortened the cycle of development and improvement of weapons by testing new models directly at the front. NATO said that this approach has become an important lesson for Western armies and the defense industry.
