US President Donald Trump spoke at the UN General Assembly, making a number of statements regarding the war in Ukraine, Russian oil, and the Biological Weapons Convention.

In particular, Trump said that only two weeks ago he learned that some NATO member countries were still buying Russian energy.

“Europe is buying oil and gas from Russia at the same time as it is fighting against it. It’s shameful,” the US president stressed.

According to him, India and China, which buy oil from Russia, are the main sponsors of the war against Ukraine.

At the same time, he assured that if the Kremlin is not ready to conclude a ceasefire agreement, the United States is fully prepared to impose large-scale tariffs that will stop the war.

“Everyone thought Russia was going to win this war in three days. It was supposed to be a quick little skirmish. But it turned out differently. It puts Russia in a bad light,” Trump said.

Among other things, he mentioned the recognition of the state of Palestine by some countries, calling such actions a gift to Hamas, which fuels aggression.

In addition, the American leader assured that the United States will lead international efforts on the biological weapons convention.
