The US will use intelligence and logistics to ensure a ceasefire: media published a draft statement by the Coalition of the Willing

The draft communiqué of the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris states that the United States will help ensure a ceasefire in Ukraine through intelligence and logistics.

In particular, the draft document indicates that coordinated military planning was carried out to prepare measures to ensure security in the air, at sea, and on land and to restore the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“We confirmed that these security measures must be strictly implemented at Ukraine’s request after a credible cessation of hostilities,” the communiqué said.

Europe will monitor compliance, and non-European members of the Coalition of the Willing, including the United States, will also join the monitoring.

At the same time, monitoring and verifying the status of the ceasefire is the responsibility of the United States.

“A system of continuous and reliable monitoring of the ceasefire will be established. It will be led by the United States with the participation of the international community, including members of the Coalition of the Willing. The Coalition of the Willing will also be represented in the Special Commission, which will be established to consider any violations, determine responsibility, and establish measures to correct the situation,” the draft document states.

The publication emphasizes that this is a preliminary version of the communiqué, and its text may be subject to change.

As reported, the countries of the “Coalition of the Willing” plan to discuss five key areas of further support for Ukraine on Tuesday, January 6, including the format of the possible deployment of Western troops on Ukrainian territory.
