The Verkhovna Rada appointed Kravchenko as Prosecutor General

On Tuesday, June 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the appointment of Ruslan Kravchenko as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

This was reported by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

The decision was supported by 273 people’s deputies.

From 2012 to 2014, Ruslan Kravchenko worked as an investigator at the Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office for Supervision.

After that, he worked in the military prosecutor’s office. In particular, from 2015 to 2017, he was a prosecutor in the treason case of President Viktor Yanukovych.

Already in 2023, Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Kravchenko to the position of head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

We will remind, the day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada a proposal to appoint Ruslan Kravchenko to the position of Prosecutor General.

As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees appointing former Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin as Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
