The Verkhovna Rada appointed Serhiy Koretsky as Prime Minister of Ukraine. The decision was supported by 289 members of parliament.

Before his appointment as Prime Minister, Koretsky headed Naftogaz Ukrainy. Previously, he also held senior positions in the fuel and energy sector, including managing the WOG gas station network and Ukrnafta.

Under Koretsky’s leadership, the new government is expected to focus on energy security, economic sustainability, rebuilding the country, and continuing reforms amid a full-scale war.
