The People’s Deputies propose allowing businesses to operate without shelter during a yellow air alert if employees agree to such conditions. To this end, they have prepared a draft resolution with an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers.

This was announced by the People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” Igor Fris,

According to the parliamentarian, the document has already been prepared and submitted for signature to representatives of all parliamentary factions and groups of the Verkhovna Rada.

The initiative involves appealing to the government to amend the resolution that obliges businesses to provide shelter during a yellow air alert.

Thus, the authors of the project propose to provide enterprises with the opportunity to continue working without shelter, subject to the consent of employees. This is a proposal to change the current rules, not a decision that has already been made.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian businesses must provide employees and visitors with access to shelters or safe spaces by December 4, 2026. If a business fails to comply with this requirement, it will not be able to continue operating during a yellow air alert.
