The war could end by mid-January 2026

The war may end earlier than January 15, 2026. This was stated by the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, Shmuel Kaminetsky.

Kaminetskyi announced this in his statement.

According to Kaminetsky, he sees the prerequisites for the hostilities to end sooner than society currently expects. Rabin emphasized that he is speaking about his own vision and belief, not about specific agreements or political decisions.

It was previously reported that during the preparation of draft options for financial assistance to Ukraine, the European Commission noted that the war should end next year.

As a reminder, US President Donald Trump said that he had a conversation with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.
