The Russian command is increasingly admitting that the war with Ukraine has reached a dead end and is sustained only by the personal ambitions of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.
This is evidenced by the analysis of the military OSINT project Tatarigami_UA.
As noted, a change in sentiment towards the war is increasingly noticeable among Russian officers. This has been influenced, in particular, by Ukraine’s campaign of strikes deep into Russian territory.
It had several consequences – the destruction of strategic enemy targets and the demoralization of his state.
In addition, the decline in Russian morale has led to significant personnel losses. According to the project, the number of deserters and missing persons is high, while the level of wounded has decreased due to poor evacuation.
The analysis indicates that in the fall the occupation army will try to resume offensive operations, however, as the analyst notes, the training of new units and the level of their manning remain low.
Earlier, military analyst and former NATO planner Philip Ingram said that Ukraine had opened a new front in the war by launching a series of strikes on Russian oil refineries .
As a reminder, Ukrainian drones continue to carry out targeted strikes on Russia’s strategic energy infrastructure. According to The Wall Street Journal, such attacks have knocked out about 13% of Russian oil refinery capacity.
