After a brief cooling and thunderstorms, the weather in Ukraine will change again. Already at the end of July, the temperature will begin to rise rapidly, and in early August, the real summer heat will return in most regions.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
The forecast of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center also indicates that after the passage of the cold atmospheric front, the rains will gradually stop, and the temperature will increase daily.
According to Didenko, on Tuesday, July 29, the remnants of a cold atmospheric front will bring short-term rains and thunderstorms only to the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy regions and the north of the Luhansk region. Dry weather will prevail in other regions.
“The end of July and the beginning of August will bring real heat to Ukraine, take this into account,” the weather forecaster emphasized.
The air temperature on July 29 will be +22…+25 degrees, in the southern regions — +24…+28 degrees, and in the north of the country it will be slightly cooler — +20…+22 degrees. No significant precipitation is expected in Kyiv, and the daytime temperature is forecast to be around +22…+23 degrees.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center explained that after the passage of an active cold front, atmospheric pressure will begin to increase. Rains will almost completely stop on July 29–30, and on Thursday, mostly dry weather is expected throughout the country.
Forecasters predict that the temperature will begin to rise rapidly starting July 30. The warmest will be in Transcarpathia, where the air will warm up to +30…+33 degrees, and then the heat wave will spread to other regions.
“In the next three days, we will observe a noticeable warming of the air and gradually, throughout the week, the air temperature will rise both during the day and at night with each passing day,” the Ukrhydrometeorological Center noted.
Forecasters advise preparing for hot weather in advance: drink more water, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during the hottest hours, wear hats, and remember to leave water for animals outside.
