The weather will change dramatically: rain and thunderstorms are forecast in Ukraine

The weather in Ukraine will remain unstable in the coming days: on August 27, most regions will be covered with short-term rains, thunderstorms are possible in places. At the same time, no precipitation is expected in the north of the country, in particular in the Kyiv region.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

According to the forecasters, it will be partly cloudy throughout the day. Rain will fall almost throughout the entire territory of Ukraine, except for the northern regions. In some places, precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms.

The wind will be predominantly northeast, 5–10 m/s. The temperature at night will be +8…+13 degrees, and in the south and southeast it will be warmer – +14…+19. In the afternoon, the air will warm up to +21…+26 degrees.

Partly cloudy weather, but no precipitation, is expected in Kyiv and the region on August 27. North-easterly wind, 5–10 m/s.

In the Kyiv region, the temperature will drop to +8…+13 degrees at night, and +21…+26 degrees during the day. In the capital, it will be +11…+13 at night, and +23…+25 degrees during the day.

At the same time, such unstable weather will not last long. According to the forecast of the head of the Cherkasy Regional Hydrometeorological Center, Vitaliy Postryhan, the situation will begin to stabilize on the afternoon of August 28 : mostly dry and sunny weather will return to Ukraine. The temperature at night is expected to be +10…+15, and during the day – +22…+27 degrees.

The expected rains, according to the forecaster, will not be able to completely overcome the drought, but they may reduce the fire danger in ecosystems.
