The weather will change dramatically: rain, thunderstorms and cold are coming to Ukraine

Changeable and unstable weather is expected in Ukraine in the coming days – with rain, thunderstorms and a gradual cooling. At the end of the week and the beginning of next week, even night frosts are possible.

This was reported by weather forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan.

According to him, on April 17-18, the weather in Ukraine will be affected by cyclones forming over Belarus and Turkey. They will bring rain to most regions. In some places, precipitation will be more intense and accompanied by thunderstorms.

In particular, in central regions, such as Cherkasy region, short-term thunderstorms are possible.

Already on Sunday, April 19, the weather will start to change – cooler air of Arctic origin will enter Ukraine. Because of this, the temperature will drop and the wind will strengthen.

“A cold wave will begin. The temperature at night will be 2–7°C, during the day – 10–15°C. Light rain is possible in some places,” the forecaster noted.

At the beginning of the new week, the cold snap will intensify. At night, the temperature will stay within +2…+7°, but in the lowlands, frosts to 0…-3° are possible on the ground. During the day, the air will warm up only to +9…+14°.
