The weather will change dramatically: thunderstorms, hail and strong winds will cover Ukraine this weekend

After a long period of heat, a sharp change in the weather is expected in Ukraine. It will become cooler in most regions this weekend, but along with the drop in temperature will come rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and in some places hail.

This was reported by weather forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan, and the forecast of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center also indicates this.

According to the forecaster, an active cold atmospheric front is passing through the territory of Ukraine, which will bring a collision of hot African air with cool air masses from the North Sea. This is what will cause unstable weather.

Thunderstorms are forecast in most regions, with significant precipitation in places, wind gusts up to 15–20 m/s, and hail is possible in some areas.

Vitaliy Postrygan noted that the air temperature can drop by more than 10 degrees in a short time, which is a rather drastic change in weather conditions.

According to weather forecasters, the heat will subside by the weekend, and the average daily temperature will return to the climatic norm. At the same time, rainy and windy weather will persist in most regions.

Experts urge people not to stay under isolated trees during thunderstorms, avoid open areas, and monitor warnings about dangerous meteorological phenomena.
