The world is at risk: a super-powerful magnetic storm is approaching Earth

On Friday, November 7, one of the most powerful magnetic storms of the year will sweep across the Earth. The level of geomagnetic activity could reach a K-index of 7.3, which corresponds to a category G3–G4 storm.
This is indicated by forecasts from Meteoagent and the British Geological Survey.
The expected disturbance was caused by several large-scale X- and M-class solar flares, accompanied by coronal mass ejections. This was combined with the influence of a high-speed solar wind stream emanating from a large coronal hole on the Sun. The combination of these factors creates favorable conditions for powerful geomagnetic oscillations in the Earth’s magnetosphere.
Experts warn that the storm may cause disruptions in the operation of satellite systems, GPS navigation, and radio communications, and at high latitudes, bright auroras may be observed.
Such phenomena also affect people’s well-being, especially those who are sensitive to changes in the magnetic field. Doctors advise weather-dependent people, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with chronic diseases to be careful during this period:
get enough sleep and follow a rest regimen;
drink enough water;
avoid stress and physical overload;
limit coffee, strong tea, and alcohol.
Experts note that the peak of the magnetic storm is expected on the night of November 7-8, but increased activity may persist for several more days.
