As a result of the Russian attack on the night of September 9 in Mykolaiv, a 70-year-old woman was killed, and four more people, including a 15-year-old child, were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv OVA, Georgy Reshetilov.
According to him, Russian troops launched a combined strike on the Mykolaiv region at night. They used strike drones, ballistic missiles, Banderol missiles, and guided bombs for the attack.
Among the injured are two men aged 74 and 66, a 44-year-old woman and a 15-year-old child. The 66-year-old man was hospitalized. Doctors assess his condition as moderate. The other victims were treated on an outpatient basis.
In Mykolaiv, transport, port and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged. A shopping center, a postal terminal, a cafe and two private houses were also damaged.
In addition, four trucks were damaged, one of which was completely destroyed.
Russian strikes were also recorded in other communities of the Mykolaiv region. On the eve, Russian troops twice attacked the Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities of the Mykolaiv district with FPV drones. In the village of Dniprovske, a private house was damaged by shelling. No people were injured.
In the Halytsynivska community, the Russians struck with a guided aerial bomb, damaging industrial enterprises.
Another drone strike was recorded in the Berezanska community. Energy facilities were damaged there.
After the attack, the municipal services of Mykolaiv are preparing for work. They will help residents, clean up the area, and close broken windows in damaged buildings.
It was previously reported that on the night of September 9, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. One of the drones hit a multi-story building in the Darnytskyi district. At least four people are currently known to have been injured.
In addition, Russia attacked the Starokozache international checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border with drones at night. The drones hit the checkpoint infrastructure and the surrounding area, causing fires. There were civilian casualties and injuries. The checkpoint was temporarily suspended.
