There are hundreds of us, not just one person: Kvartal commented on the corruption scandal involving Mindich.

Studio Kvartal 95 released an official statement emphasizing that it does not participate in any political processes and is not connected with the business activities of its shareholders.

This is stated in the studio’s statement.

“We will not allow ourselves to be drawn into political games or manipulation. We have no involvement in any of our shareholders’ businesses or political processes. What is happening now has no direct bearing on our work or our creativity,” they noted in the statement.

In a statement, Kvartal 95 noted that the team, which consists of hundreds of people, has been working for over 20 years, maintaining the country’s morale even during the most difficult times. They assured that public pressure will not affect the studio’s work:

“We will defend ourselves. We are not afraid.”

The comedians urged viewers to draw conclusions based on their work, not on news, and promised to express their position at concerts scheduled for December 6–7.

At the same time, the studio explained that they changed the performance schedule to protect the invited artists from unnecessary pressure.

At the end of the address, the studio emphasized that, despite external circumstances, it will remain close to its audience and continue its creative work.

Earlier, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that Timur Mindich, co-owner of Studio Kvartal 95, has a diamond business in Russia .

As a reminder, in July, it was reported that the NABU and SAP were preparing a notice of suspicion for Mindich . At the time, journalist and founder of the “Nashi Dengi” project, Yuriy Nikolov, suggested that the attack on NABU’s independence could be directly related to investigations into drone production —specifically, into classified multibillion-dollar contracts awarded to companies associated with the president’s inner circle. Meanwhile, during a wiretap at the address where President Volodymyr Zelenskyy celebrated his birthday five years ago, NABU and SAP recorded conversations with businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Timur Mindich .

Yesterday, it was reported that businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Timur Mindich, may become the subject of an investigation by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation . The investigation may relate to money laundering.
