There have been 100 combat clashes on the front since the start of the day: the greatest activity is in the Pokrovsky direction

Since the beginning of the day, 100 military clashes have been recorded along the entire front line.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Enemy artillery shelled a number of communities in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, in particular Stetskovka, Ulanovo, Yastrebshchina, Belaya Bereza, Ryzhevka, Atynskoye, Iskriskovshchina, as well as Bleshnya, Arkhipovka and Nikolaevka.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian forces carried out five attacks and more than 70 shellings, including from multiple launch rocket systems. In the South Slobozhansky direction, two clashes were recorded, with one battle ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks near Peschane and in the direction of Kurilovka and Novoplatonovka. In the Limansk direction, the occupiers attacked eight times, and fighting continues. In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy launched five assaults, with one clash still ongoing.

In the Konstantinovka direction, the Defense Forces thwarted 17 breakthrough attempts in the areas of Pleshcheyevka, Rusiny Yar, Shcherbinovka, and Kleban-Byk. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy has attempted to advance 33 times near Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlinoe, Udachny, and other settlements, with three battles still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivske, Hulyai-Polye, and Orekhivske directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled dozens of attacks, with some combat still ongoing. In the Dnieper direction, no active enemy offensive actions have been recorded.

The General Staff notes that the Defense Forces continue to inflict significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. According to official figures, the total number of Russian servicemen killed is approaching 1.2 million.
