There have been 102 armed clashes on the front since the beginning of the day.

As of 4:00 pm on October 2, 102 combat clashes were recorded on the front.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Northern regions. Border villages in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions came under artillery fire from Russian territory. The village of Khotyn was hit by an airstrike. In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks, and another clash continues.

Kharkiv Oblast. In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, defense forces repelled six attacks near Vovchansk, Kamenka, and other settlements. In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers attempted to advance three times near Kupyansk and Boguslavka.

Donbas. The fiercest fighting is taking place in the Liman, Seversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, and Pokrovsky directions. In Pokrovsky alone, the enemy launched 28 assaults, 27 of which were repelled. In Toretsky, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 attacks. In the Novopavlivske direction, 19 attacks have been recorded, with eight ongoing engagements.

South. In the Hulyai-Polye and Orekhiv sectors, fighting continues near Poltavka, Pyatikhatki, and Lobkovoe. Russia launched airstrikes on villages in the Zaporizhia region. In the Dnieper sector, three attacks near the Antonovsky Bridge have been repelled.

The General Staff emphasized that the situation on other sections of the front had not undergone significant changes.
