There have been 123 combat clashes on the front since the start of the day: the occupiers have attacked the Pokrovsk direction 56 times.

On Thursday, January 22, 123 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy attempted to breach the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ defenses 56 times.

This was reported in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out three attacks, carried out two airstrikes using guided aerial bombs, and carried out 34 shelling attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas, including from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, seven military clashes occurred in the areas of Prilepka, Vovchansk, Vovchanskie Khutory, and in the direction of Izbitskoye. One battle is ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops are repelling an enemy attack near Synkivka. In the Limansk direction, Russian troops have launched six attacks in the areas of Mirny, Drobyshevoye, Kolodtsy, Zarechny, and Yampolevka, with two clashes still ongoing.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice near Svyato-Pokrovskoe. In the Kramatorsk direction, seven enemy assaults were recorded near Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Vremenny Yar, and Markov.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy assaults in the areas of Predtechino, Pleshcheyevka, Ivanopol, Yablonovka, Rusiny Yar, and Sofiyivka, with three more clashes continuing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers made 56 attempts to push back Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Shakhovo, Ivanovka, Dorozhnoye, Rodinskoye, Sukhetskoye, Pokrovsk, Kotlinoye, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, Orekhovoye, Dachnoye, and in the direction of Novopavlovka. Fighting continues in a number of locations.

Since the start of the day, Ukrainian defenders have stopped eight enemy assaults in the Oleksandrivske sector. In the Hulyai-Polye sector, the aggressor has attacked Defense Force positions 20 times near Sladke, Varvarovka, Hulyai-Polye, and in the directions of Zelene and Dobropillia.

In the Orekhiv area, an enemy attack near Plavny is being repelled. In the Dnieper area, the occupiers made one unsuccessful attempt to advance.
