The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on September 18 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 176 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy carried out 57 air strikes, dropped 192 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 5,814 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 2,020 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.
No enemy offensive activity was noted in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
During the day, in the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units seven times near Ternova, Staritsa, Shyroky, Mykolaivka, and Zarubinka; three more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy assaults in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kupyansk-Vuzlovye, and Novoosynovo; another battle is ongoing.
In the Lymansky direction, our defenders successfully repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Nadiya, Novoselivka, and Torske; another clash is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped three attempts by the invaders to advance near Yampol and Kryvaya Luka; another attack is ongoing.
One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction in the Yurkivka area.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy assaults in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Osykovye, Novoselivka, Stepanivka, and Mykolaipyl; two more clashes are ongoing.
A total of 23 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsky direction. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Toretske, Dobropillya, Bilytske, Hannivka, Svitle, Krasnopodillia, Novogrishyne, Serhiivka, Udachne and Novopavlivka. One attack is ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 44 occupiers were eliminated here today and 22 were wounded; two units of automotive equipment, one artillery system, one multiple launch rocket system, eight units of special equipment, five unmanned aerial vehicle control points, two ammunition depots and 47 enemy shelters were destroyed. Six units of automotive equipment, nine artillery systems, two units of special equipment, two unmanned aerial vehicle control points and 145 enemy shelters were damaged. 241 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Oleksandrivka direction.
Ten attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Hulyaipil direction in the areas of the settlements of Hirke, Rivne, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Hulyaipilske, and Novoselivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the area of Maly Shcherbaky.
There were no enemy assault actions in the Dnieper direction.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
