There have been 49 combat contacts on the front since the start of the day: the hottest is in the Pokrovsky direction.

As of 4:00 PM on March 24, 49 combat clashes had occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most active fighting continues in the Pokrovsky direction, where the occupiers have attacked 17 times.

This was reported in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00.

Enemy shelling

In the Sumy region , Tovstodubovo, Korenok, Sukhodol, Neskuchnoye, Iskriskovshchina and Sosnovka were hit.

In the Chernihiv region, Russians shelled Mikhalchina Sloboda, Senkovka, and Bleshnya.

Situation in the directions

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 40 attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked twice near Vovchansk , one combat clash continues.

In the Kupyansk direction, one attack was recorded towards Novoosinove.

In the Liman direction, the enemy twice attempted to advance in the direction of Liman.

There were no offensive actions in the Slavic direction.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians carried out one attack in the Minkovka area.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, the occupiers attacked nine times in the direction of Konstantinovka, Pleshcheyevka, Ilyinovka, Sofievka and Novopavlovka – three battles are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 17 assaults in the areas of Rodynskoye, Hryshinoye, Udachnoye, Novomykolaivka, Molodetskoye, and in the direction of Belitskoye and Shevchenko. Three more clashes remain unfinished.

In the Aleksandrovsky direction, the enemy carried out four attacks near Ternovoye, Krasnogorsk and Soglasie.

In the Hulyai-Polye direction, 13 attacks occurred in the areas of Dobropillya, Zheleznodorozhny, Hulyai-Polye, Varvarovka, Myrny, and Lenokostiantynivka. The enemy also carried out airstrikes on a number of populated areas.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Orekhov direction, however, the Russians carried out airstrikes in the Orekhov area.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.
