There have been 50 battles on the front since the start of the day: the largest number of attacks are in the Pokrovsky direction

On Tuesday, February 3, 50 combat clashes occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where it launched 23 attacks.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this as of 16:00.

From Russian territory, the enemy shelled border settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions with artillery. In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian forces carried out 52 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems, and also carried out one airstrike.

In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched three attacks near Prilepka and Maryinoye, with one battle still ongoing. In the Kupyansk direction, three combat clashes were recorded near Kurilovka and Novoosinove, with fighting continuing.

In the Limansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks near Zarechnoye and towards Drobyshev. In the Slavyansk direction, Russian forces attempted three advances near Zakotnoye, Svyato-Pokrovskoe, and Dronivka, with two battles still ongoing. The enemy has not launched any offensive actions in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, the occupiers launched three attacks near Shcherbinovka and Pleshcheyevka, one of which is ongoing. In the Pokrovsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 18 of 23 enemy assaults near several populated areas, and fighting continues.

Active fighting also continued in the Hulyai-Polye sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks, with four clashes ongoing. The enemy launched isolated attacks in the Oleksandrivske, Orekhivske, and Prydniprovske sectors, repelled by the Defense Forces.
