There have been 52 combat contacts at the front since the beginning of the day: the hottest areas are Pokrovskoe and Konstantinovsky

On Monday, April 20, 52 combat clashes were recorded on the front. The most active fighting continues in the Pokrovskoe and Konstantinovskoe directions.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to military data, the occupiers carried out 17 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, attempting to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions in the areas of Pokrovsk, Rodinskoye, Udachny, and other towns. Some fighting continues.

 

In the Konstantinovka sector, 13 attacks were recorded near Konstantinovka, Pleshcheyeivka, Ivanopol, and other settlements. Some clashes also continue.

 

In other parts of the front, the situation looks like this:

 

 

        • In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy attacked Ukrainian military positions three times, launched airstrikes, and carried out shelling.

       

       

 

 

 

        • There have been four offensive attempts in the Kupyansk direction, and some of the fighting continues.

       

       

 

 

 

        • In the Liman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack.

       

       

 

 

 

        • In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the Defense Forces stopped eight enemy attacks.

       

       

 

 

 

        • In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made one attempt to storm the area of the Antonovsky Bridge.

       

       

 

 

At the same time, no active offensive actions have been recorded in the Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, and Orekhovsky directions, although the enemy continues to carry out airstrikes.

 

Furthermore, artillery shelling of border areas continues. Settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions have come under fire.

 

The situation on the front remains tense, with Ukrainian troops holding their positions and repelling enemy attacks.
