There have been 53 combat clashes on the front since the start of the day – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the day, 53 combat clashes have been recorded on the front. Ukrainian defenders are holding back the enemy advance, holding their positions, and disrupting Russian forces’ plans.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its summary.

Northern regions. Settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, including Khrenovka, Klyusy, Karpovichi, Liskovshchina, as well as Bobilovka, Belaya Bereza, Volkovka, Bruski, Ryzhevka, and others, came under Russian artillery shelling.

Kharkov.

Two armed clashes occurred in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy launched two airstrikes, dropped four guided bombs, and carried out 78 shelling attacks.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, five attacks were recorded in the areas of Prilepka, Volchansk and in the direction of Sinelnikovo, another battle is ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to advance towards Monachinovka.

Eastern direction.

In the Limansky direction, seven combat contacts occurred near Novy Mir, Novoselovka, Drobysheva, and Zarechny; fighting continues in three locations.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy carried out three attacks in the areas of Yampol, Serebryanka and in the direction of Platonovka.

In the Konstantinovka direction, the Defense Forces stopped 12 attacks near Pleshcheyevka, Kleban-Byk, Rusiny Yar, and another battle continues in the Konstantinovka and Aleksandro-Shultino directions.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through defenses 19 times in the areas of several populated areas. Ukrainian forces repelled 18 attacks, and one battle continues.

In the Aleksandrovsky direction, four attacks were repelled near Verbovoye, Privolnoye and in the directions of Aleksandrograd and Rybnoye.

South.

In the Hulyai-Polye sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack toward Dobropillia. The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Kramatorsk, Orekhiv, or Prydniprovsk sectors.

In other areas, no significant changes in the situation were recorded.
