There have been 53 combat encounters on the front since the beginning of the day, with 13 attacks repelled in the Pokrovsky direction.

Since the start of February 22, 53 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian forces have already repelled 13 enemy attacks.

This was reported in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00.

Situation in the main directions

One combat engagement occurred in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 46 attacks on Ukrainian units and settlements, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy once attacked in the Dvurechansky area – the military clash continues.

In the Kupyansk direction, one attempt at an offensive towards Glushkovka was recorded.

In the Liman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks in the Drobyshevo area and in the direction of Novosergeevka and Aleksandrovka.

The enemy has not been detected in the Slavyansk and Kramatorsk directions of offensive operations.

In the Konstantinovka direction, the occupiers carried out 12 attacks near Pleshcheyevka and Sofiyivka, and in the direction of Ilyinovka, Konstantinovka, and Stepanovka. Two attacks are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops have made 14 attempts to push back Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Rodinskoye, Pokrovsk, Udachny, Filial, and in the direction of Belitskoye and Grishinoye. Defense forces are holding off the pressure and have already repelled 13 attacks.

Four attacks were recorded in the Aleksandrivske sector in the areas of Stepnoye, Kalinovskoye, Ternovoye, and Novoye Zaporizhzhia. One combat clash is ongoing. Pokrovske and Prosyana were hit by airstrikes.

On the Hulyai-Polye front, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks in the Hulyai-Polye area and in the direction of Zheleznodorozhne. Enemy aircraft struck several settlements, including Rozhdestvenka, Kopani, Dolinka, Tersyantse, Zornitsa, Vozdvizhenka, Hulyai-Polye, Volshebnoye, Novonikolayevka, Samoylovka, and Lyubitske. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orekhovo direction, the enemy twice attacked Ukrainian military positions in the Primorskoye and Stepnoye areas. Guided bombs were fired at Tavricheskoye, Kamyshevakha, and Veselyanka.

No enemy offensive actions have been detected in the Dnieper direction.

In other areas, there were no significant changes in the operational situation.
