There have been 61 combat clashes on the front since the beginning of the day, most of them in the Pokrovsky direction

Since the start of Tuesday, January 20, 61 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy has launched 24 attacks.
This was stated in the General Staff building as of 16:00.
Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have carried out 39 attacks on Defense Forces positions and populated areas in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, seven enemy attacks were recorded near Vovchansk and toward Izbitskoye, Grafskoye, Krugly, Nesternoye, and Chugunovka. Four clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers twice attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenders’ defenses, and one battle remains unfinished.
In the Liman direction, the enemy carried out three attacks in the direction of Tverdokhlebovoye and Olgovka.
Two enemy attacks have been recorded in the Slavyansk direction, and one combat contact is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian units repelled one attack by the occupiers in the direction of Bondarnoye.
In the Konstantinovsky direction, Russian troops carried out ten assault operations, three battles remain active.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders attempted to push back the Ukrainian defenders 24 times, and two clashes are ongoing.
In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the enemy once attacked in the direction of New Zaporizhzhia.
In the Hulyai-Polye direction, the Defense Forces repelled nine attacks in the Hulyai-Polye area and in the directions of Dobropillya and Zelenyi. The occupiers carried out airstrikes on Hulyai-Polye, Zheleznodorozhny, and Lugovske.
In the Orekhov direction, the enemy twice attacked Ukrainian military positions in the Stepnogorsk and Primorsky districts.
As of 16:00, no military clashes were recorded in the Dnieper direction.
