There have been 62 combat clashes on the front since the beginning of the day.

As of 4:00 PM on December 9, Ukrainian military personnel recorded 62 combat clashes along the entire front line.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

North: Artillery shelling of communities

Communities near the settlements of Zarechye in the Chernihiv region, as well as Bessalovka, Volfine, Studenok, Malushino, and Ryzhevka in the Sumy region, suffered from Russian artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy launched an airstrike with a guided aerial bomb and carried out 50 attacks, one of which was from an MLRS.

Kharkiv region: Defense forces repelled the attack

In the South Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian fighters repelled one attack near Prilepka.
No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Kupyansk direction.

East: The most intense fighting is in the Pokrovsky and Konstantinovsky directions

• Liman direction. The Russian army has attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions eight times in the areas of Grekovka, Novy Mir, and Mirny, as well as in the direction of Stavki and Drobyshevoy. Five combat contacts are ongoing.

• Slavyansk direction. The enemy attempted to advance five times near Yampol and Serebryanka. Three attacks have already been repelled, and the fighting continues.

• Kramatorsk direction. One military clash continues near Vremenny Yar.

• The Konstantinovka direction. The enemy attempted to break through the defenses nine times—in the areas of Konstantinovka, Aleksandro-Shultino, Shcherbinovka, Ivanopol, Rusiny Yar, and in the direction of Sofiyivka.

• Pokrovsk direction. The enemy has attempted 19 offensives in the areas of Ivanovka, Krasny Liman, Mirnograd, Grishinoye, Pokrovsk, Kotlinoye, Udachny, Molodetskoye, Dachny, and toward Novopodgorodny. Defense forces have already repelled 16 of these attacks.

• Aleksandrivske direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 assaults in the areas of Zelenaya Roshcha, Yalta, Voronoye, Vishnevoye, Rybnoye, Yegorovka, and in the direction of Danilovka. Four clashes are ongoing.

South: Fighting continues in the Gulyai-Polye direction

In the Gulyai-Polye direction, eight clashes occurred in the areas of Zatishie, Gulyai-Polye and Belogorye, two battles are ongoing.
No combat contact has yet been recorded in the Orekhiv and Dnieper directions.
