Since the beginning of Tuesday, December 23, 67 military clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front, 27 of which were in the Pokrovsky direction.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this as of 16:00.
In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy once attacked defensive positions, and the fighting continues. Furthermore, Russian forces carried out 89 attacks, including twice using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked three times in the area of Prilepka and in the direction of Grigorovka, one combat contact is still not completed.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks, and two more battles are ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped two attempts at an offensive near Novoselivka and Kolodtsy.
In the Slavyansk direction, fighting continues in the Dronovka area, while in the Kramatorsk direction, no military clashes have been recorded.
In the Konstantinovsky direction, Russian troops carried out nine offensive actions, one attack is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers attempted to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops 27 times, two combat contacts remain active.
In the Aleksandrovsky direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of Aleksandrograd, Sosnovka, Privolnoye and Rybnoye.
In the Hulyai-Polye sector, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks, and fighting continues in four locations. Russian aircraft also struck Pryluky, Zheleznodorozhny, Volshebny, and Varvarovka.
In the Orekhov area, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Malaya Tokmachka and Stepnoye, and Novoyakovlivka suffered an airstrike.
In the Dnieper direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped two enemy offensive attempts in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge.
