There have been 68 combat clashes on the front since the beginning of the day

The defense forces continue to contain the offensive actions of Russian troops and take measures to prevent them from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. As of 16:00 on September 6, 68 combat clashes were recorded.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Today, border communities of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, in particular, Senkovka, Yanzhulovka, Novovasilovka, Khleborob, Fotovyzh, Tovstodubovo, Bachevsk, Bobilovka, Bunyakino and others, came under enemy fire. The aggressor’s aviation also struck the Gremyachiy region.

Three battles took place in the northern directions, and another one is ongoing. The Russians carried out 8 airstrikes and more than 80 shellings. In the Kharkiv region, clashes continue near Vovchansk, Ambarnoye and Novovasilovka, and in the Kupyansk direction the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the defenses.

The hottest battles remain in Donbass. Seven attacks have taken place near Liman, three battles are still ongoing. In the Seversky direction, the occupiers have tried to break through the defenses nine times, in Kramatorsk – one attack, in Toretsk – three. In the Pokrovsk direction, 34 assaults have been recorded, of which the Ukrainian soldiers have already repelled 32. In Novopavlovsk, the enemy has attacked eight times, seven of them unsuccessfully.

In the southern directions, the infidels carried out an airstrike on Odradokamenka and attacked towards Stepnogorsk. No offensive actions were recorded near Gulyaipole. The situation in other areas of the front has not changed significantly.
