There have been 71 combat contacts at the front since the beginning of the day

Since the beginning of the day, there have already been 71 combat clashes between the Defense Forces and Russian troops. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsky and Limansky directions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

In the Liman direction, 24 enemy attacks have been recorded in the areas of Karpovka, Redkodub, Kolodtsy, Mirny, Torskoye and near other populated areas. Currently, six more combat contacts are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian troops made 20 assault attempts in the areas of Vladimirovka, Nikanorovka, Fedorovka, Novoekonomichesky, Mirolyubovka, Rodinsky and other settlements. The defense forces have already repelled 16 attacks, the remaining battles are still ongoing.

The situation is also restless in other areas of the front. In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, there have been five combat contacts, two more are ongoing. In the Seversky direction, the enemy has attacked three times, in Toretsky – twice, in Novopavlovskoye – already eight times, five more battles are ongoing there.

The enemy is also actively using aviation: eight air strikes with the use of 19 guided aerial bombs were recorded in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions alone. In total, the occupiers carried out 124 artillery attacks in 24 hours, 11 of which were from MLRS.
