On Tuesday, April 7, 82 combat clashes were recorded along the front. The most active fighting continues in the Konstantinovsky, Pokrovsky, and Gulyai-Polye directions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
Shelling of the border area
Russian troops continue to shell border areas. In the Sumy region, the villages of Korenok, Gorki, Iskriskovshchina, Starikove, Ulanovo, Malushino, and Rogizne have been hit. In the Chernihiv region, the villages of Galaganovka, Semenovka, and Tymonovychi have been hit.
Situation in the directions
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy twice stormed Ukrainian military positions, carried out 40 attacks, including with the use of multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out an air strike with a guided bomb.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, one assault attempt was recorded near Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted five times to improve the tactical position in the areas of Kurilovka, Petrovpavlovka and Peschanoye.
An attack is underway in the Liman direction near Tverdokhlebovoye.
In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack near Rai-Aleksandrivka, and two more battles are ongoing in the Reznikovka area.
No active actions have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Konstantinovka direction, the occupiers carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Konstantinovka, Pleshcheyevka, Ilyinovka, Stepanovka, Ivanopol and Sofiyivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defenses 17 times near Belitskoye, Rodinskoye, Mirnograd, Pokrovsk, Udachny, and other settlements. One battle continues.
In the Aleksandrovsky direction, six attacks were recorded in the areas of Sosnovka, Yanvarsky and Voronoye.
In the Hulyai-Polye sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 18 enemy attacks. Fighting continued near Dobropillya, Hulyai-Polye, Zheleznodorozhny, and other settlements. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orekhovo direction, the enemy launched airstrikes on the Tavrichesky district.
In the Dnieper direction, the occupiers carried out four unsuccessful assaults in the direction of the Antonovsky Bridge and also carried out an airstrike on Stepanovka.
In other areas, no significant changes in the situation were recorded.
