There is no alternative: Russian Starlink terminals have stopped working

The Starlink satellite terminals of the occupation army soldiers at the front stopped working.

This was reported by Russian publications.

In particular, propagandist Vladimir Romanov stated that the Russians had Starlink “laid” along the entire line of combat contact.

Currently, the enemy is in a panic due to dependence on satellite communications, they emphasize that there are no analogues yet, but a replacement must be sought.

“Regarding reports of mass shutdowns of Starlink terminals across the front line and in border areas. There is simply no alternative to this satellite Internet in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces, and much, including combat control, was tied to it and everything was taken for granted,” says a message from one of the enemy’s military forums.

Some Russians have stated that the terminals in the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also stopped working, but most military personnel deny this.

However, a senior lieutenant of the Defense Forces and the author of the Telegram channel “Officer” noted that the “starlinks” are working, but in some places there may be interruptions.

“Frankly speaking, there are no clear statistics, because even some starlinks that were served were lost, and those that were not served are still working for themselves, so we are registering the plates, waiting a few days to see if the whole story is valid or not,” he wrote.

As a reminder, SpaceX, at the request of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has implemented countermeasures in the operation of the Starlink satellite communication system in the country. Some users are already noticing temporary restrictions aimed at increasing security.

Earlier, SpaceX owner Elon Musk responded to Ukraine’s appeal regarding the use of Starlink terminals on attack drones by Russian troops .

By the way, the Ukrainian government has adopted a resolution to introduce a “white list” for Starlink satellite communication terminals. The decision stipulates that only verified and registered terminals will operate in the country, and all others will be disconnected.
