On Thursday, January 29, an emergency power outage occurred throughout the city in Chornomorsk, Odessa region.
This was announced by the mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Gulyaev.
According to him, despite the power outage, all key institutions in the city continue to operate. The hospital and polyclinic are provided with the necessary resources and are operating as usual. Grocery stores, schools, and kindergartens are also open, and there is no threat to people’s safety.
If the power supply cannot be restored within the next three to four hours, the central city boiler house will be powered by a generator. In this case, city residents will have heat even in the absence of electricity, writes Gulyayev.
Gulyaev noted that energy workers are already working to eliminate the accident. In parallel, inviolability points have been deployed in the city to support residents.
