There were 116 battles on the front, most of them in the Pokrovsky direction – General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, 116 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Ukrainian defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the lines and destroying his plans.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff.

The following settlements suffered from Russian artillery shelling today: Yastrebshchina, Bolshaya Pisarevka, Sorokino, Starikovoe, Bruski, Belaya Bereza, Khleborob, Pokrovka, Babino, Tovstodubovo, Bachevsk, Progress, Staraya Guta in Sumy Oblast; Timofeevka in Kharkiv Oblast.

In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attacks, and three more combat clashes are ongoing. The enemy launched seven air strikes, dropped a total of 17 guided air bombs and carried out 143 artillery attacks, including five from a multiple launch rocket system.

Today the enemy attacked the positions of our troops three times in the areas of Volchansk, Figolovka and Krasnoye Pervy in the South Slobozhansky direction.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy assaults in the areas of Golubovka, Stepnaya Novoselovka and Novaya Kruglyakovka.

The aggressor attacked our troops’ positions in the Liman direction 13 times – near Karpovka, Torskoye, Grigoryevka, in the direction of Sredny, Cherneshchina, Shandrigolovoe. Two combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Seversk direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack, and three more attempts by the enemy to advance near Grigorovka, Serebryanka and Seversk are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian military repelled four enemy attacks near Markovoye and in the direction of Belaya Gora and Stupochki.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops nine times in the areas of Rusiny Yar, Shcherbinovka, and Yekaterinovka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 38 combat clashes occurred in the areas of the settlements of Popov Yar, Novoekonomicheskoe, Mirolyubovka, Zverevoye, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Orekhovo, in the direction of the settlements of Novoukrainka, Novopodgorodnoye, Rodinskoye, Krasny Liman. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.

The occupiers have tried to break through 14 times in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhia, Novokhatskoe, Voskresenka, Zelenoe Pole, Mirnoe, Maliyevka, Temirovka, Novopolye and in the direction of the settlement of Levadnoe in the Novopavlovskoe direction. One combat clash is still ongoing.

There have been no combat clashes in the Gulyai-Polye, Orekhov and Pridneprovsk directions since the beginning of time. The enemy carried out air strikes on the settlements of Kherson, Novoandriyevka and Lvov.

Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and its rear.
