Over the past 24 hours, 117 combat clashes were recorded on the front, Russian troops launched missile and massive air strikes, used thousands of kamikaze drones, and carried out almost four thousand shelling of Defense Forces positions and settlements.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on January 29.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out one missile strike, using one missile, 77 air strikes, dropped 223 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,757 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,840 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 79 from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Havrylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Ternuvaty, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvizhivka, Barvinivka, Dolynka, Charivne, Kopany, Tersyanka in the Zaporizhia region.
Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have hit one gun at a firing position and four UAV control points of the Russian invaders.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, our soldiers repelled 15 attacks by the invaders, the enemy carried out 102 attacks, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried 14 times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders, in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Prylipka, and towards Obukhivka, Zelenye, Vovchanskiye Khutory, Kolodyazne, and Kutkivka.
Yesterday, two enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk direction. Our defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the direction of Radkivka and Pishchanye.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks. They tried to penetrate our defenses in the Myrne area and in the Lyman, Drobyshevy, and Stavye directions.
In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Yampol, Svyato-Pokrovsky, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out nine attacks near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Predtechyne, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka and towards Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 22 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Myrnograd, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filiya, Dachne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out two attacks in the direction of Yehorivka during the past day.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 12 attacks by the invaders – in the area of Hulyaipil, Myrne, and towards Dobropil.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Stepnohirsk area and towards Primorske.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted one unsuccessful offensive operation last day.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
