There were 126 clashes at the front: where the enemy attacked most actively

Over the past 24 hours, 126 combat clashes have been recorded on the front, during which Russian troops significantly intensified missile and air strikes and massive shelling, using dozens of missiles, hundreds of guided bombs, and thousands of kamikaze drones on positions of the Defense Forces and settlements of Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on December 24.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out two missile and 65 air strikes, using 39 missiles and dropping 160 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,341 attacks, including 105 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and engaged 7,601 kamikaze drones to destroy them.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Varvarivka, Hulyaipole, Verkhnia Tersa, Rizdvyanka, Sviatopetrivka, Novoyakovlivka, Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhia region; Zatoka in the Odessa region.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck nine areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and three enemy command posts.
In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, our soldiers repelled one attack by the invaders, the enemy launched two air strikes, using eight guided bombs, and carried out 153 attacks, two of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried four times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders, in the area of the settlement of Prylipka and towards Hryhorivka.
Six enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled enemy assault actions in the Kruglyakivka area and towards Petropavlivka and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched five attacks. They tried to penetrate our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Kolodyazi, and Zarichne.
In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped one attempt by the occupiers to advance in the Dronivka area.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction in the past day.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks near the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar and towards Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 34 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novosergiyevka, Horikhove, and Dachne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrovkagrad, Sosnivka, Pryvilne, and Rybne over the past day.
In the Hulyaipil direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks by the occupiers near Hulyaipil and towards Dobropil.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Mala Tokmachka and Stepove.
In the Prydniprovskie direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
