There were 126 clashes at the front: where were the most attacks

Over the past 24 hours, 126 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on October 23.

The enemy launched one missile strike using 29 missiles, 95 air strikes, and dropped 176 guided bombs on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements. In addition, it carried out 4,847 attacks, including 106 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 6,530 kamikaze drones to strike.

Air strikes affected, in particular, the areas of the settlements of Rivnepillia, Hulyaipole, Uspenivka, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Veselyanka and Prymorske in Zaporizhia region; Kherson and Olhivka in Kherson region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck four areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, an ammunition depot, an artillery piece, and two UAV control points of the Russian invaders.

Four combat clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day. In addition, the enemy carried out four air strikes, dropped 12 guided bombs, and carried out 176 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 10 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Bolohivka, Stroivka, Kamyanka, and Kolodyazne.

There were four attacks by the invaders in the Kupyansk direction. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions near Pishchane, Petropavlivka, and Kupyansk.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked four times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve and Derylove.

In the Slavyansk direction, our defenders repelled eight assaults by occupation forces near Serebryanka, Siversk, Viyimka, and Fedorivka.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 50 combat clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Myrnograd, Novoekonomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Promyn, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Zvirovo, Dachne, Filiya and in the direction of Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Defense Forces stopped 20 enemy attempts to break through the defensive lines in the areas of the settlements of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Verbove, Pryvilne, Novovasylivka, Oleksandrgrad, and Novohrygorivka.

In the Hulyaipil direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one attack by the occupiers near Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice tried to advance on the positions of our units in the Novodanylivka and Stepovoye areas.

In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor made three unsuccessful attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian units towards the Antoniv Bridge.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
