There were 143 armed clashes on the front in one day

Over the past 24 hours, August 22, 143 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Pokrovskoe and Limanskoe directions remain the hottest.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
The occupiers carried out one missile and 95 air strikes, used 174 guided air bombs and more than 5,000 kamikaze drones. In total, the enemy carried out 5,197 attacks, including 73 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In particular, settlements in Sumy, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions suffered air strikes.
The defense forces struck the bases and equipment of the occupiers.
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery carried out pinpoint strikes on the positions of Russian troops.
Over the course of 24 hours, four areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and equipment, three artillery systems, a command post and another important facility of the occupiers were destroyed or damaged.
The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces continue to actively inflict damage on the aggressor along the entire front line.
The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsky and Limansky directions.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours the enemy has been most active in the east.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian military repelled 38 attacks in the areas of more than a dozen populated areas, including Nikanorovka, Rodynskoye, Belitskoye and Udachnoye.

In the Liman direction, the invaders carried out 25 assaults near Grekovka, Zelenaya Dolina, Kolodtsy, Torskoye and in the direction of Serebryanka.

There were 19 combat contacts in the Novopavlovsk direction , and nine in the Toretsk direction .

The enemy also launched an offensive in the Kupyansk, Seversk, Kramatorsk and Dnieper directions, where four to eight attacks were recorded.
The situation in the Gulyai-Polye, Volyn and Polesie directions remains unchanged – there were no battles, no enemy offensive groups were detected.
