There were 154 clashes at the front: where the fiercest fighting took place

Over the past 24 hours, 154 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Pokrovsky direction remains the hottest.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on November 5.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile and 51 air strikes, used six missiles, dropped 86 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,618 attacks, including 133 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and engaged 5,978 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

Air strikes were carried out, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Zemlyanka in Sumy region; Tarasivka in Chernihiv region; Pokrovske, Oleksiivka in Dnipropetrovsk region; Solodke, Pologi, Ternuvaty, Rivnopillya in Zaporizhia region.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, nine artillery pieces, and one other important enemy target.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out eight air strikes, dropped a total of 15 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 163 attacks, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, our troops stopped nine enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Synelnikovo, and Dvorichanske.

Five attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions near the settlements of Pishchane, Borivska Andriivka, and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked ten times, trying to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novoselivka, Koroviy Yar, Drobysheve, and in the direction of Lyman.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks near Serebryanka, Viyimka, Pereyzne, Siversk, and in the direction of Dronivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat clash occurred near the settlement of Stupochky.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ivanopillya, Yablunivka and in the direction of the settlements of Berestok and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 52 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Chervonyi Liman, Myrnograd, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Novoukrainka, Dachne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 15 attacks towards the settlements of Yehorivka, Novoivanivka, Yalta, Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove, and Novohrygorivka.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the Defense Forces repelled three Russian attacks in the Novomykolaivka area.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy made three attempts to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Stepove and Novoandreyevka.

In the Prydniprovs’ky direction, our defenders successfully stopped three enemy attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
