There were 172 clashes at the front: where were the most attacks?

Over the past 24 hours, 172 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on July 24.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 67 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropped 123 guided bombs, and deployed 3,712 kamikaze drones. The enemy also carried out 5,756 artillery attacks, including 81 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The enemy carried out airstrikes, in particular on the areas of the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Prymorske, Malokaterynivka, Magdalinivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Lviv in Kherson region.

Over the past 24 hours, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have struck 12 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, one ammunition depot, one command post, and three artillery pieces of the Russian invaders.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attacks by the invaders. The enemy also launched nine air strikes, using 21 guided bombs, and carried out 368 shelling, six of which were from multiple rocket launchers.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried in vain 10 times to advance in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Dvorichna and in the direction of Petro-Ivanivka.

Nine attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Defense forces repelled enemy assault actions in the areas of Stepovaya Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, Golubivka, Zagryzove, and Novoplatonivka.

There were 28 combat clashes in the Lymansky direction. The enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelenyy Gai, Seredne, Shandryholove, Dronivka, Novyi Mir, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Shipylivka and in the direction of Druzhelyubivka and Serebryanka.

In the Siversky direction, our troops repelled four enemy attacks in the Hryhorivka area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out three attacks in the area of Chasovy Yar, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.

Over the past day, in the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian units of the defenders in the Toretsk area four times.

In the Pokrovske direction over the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped 61 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Myrolyubivka, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Popiv Yar, Myrnograd, Zvirovo, Udachne, Oleksiivka, Novoukrainka, Mayak, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Dachne and in the direction of Pokrovska, Pankivka, Volodymyrivka, Sukhetskoye.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhia, Zirka, Piddubne, Oleksandrograd, Shevchenko, Maliivka, Temyrivka, Voskresenka, and Vilne Pole.

Last day, in the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy once stormed the positions of our defenders in the Bilogirye area.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the area of Malaya Tokmachka.

In the Dnieper direction, enemy units tried to advance nine times – but were unsuccessful.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
