There were 208 clashes at the front: where were the most attacks

Over the past 24 hours, 208 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The hottest areas remain the Pokrovsky, Hulyaypil, and Lyman directions, where Russian troops continue to actively storm positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 8.
Yesterday, the enemy launched a missile strike using one missile, carried out 99 air strikes, dropped 292 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,113 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,126 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 131 from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; Lyubitske, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvizhivska and Dolynka in Zaporizhia region.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck six command posts, four personnel concentration areas, and one enemy artillery system.
Ten clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 108 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 23 using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units six times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Starytsia, Lyman and towards the settlement of Izbitske.
In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped four enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Radkivka and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kovalivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Dibrova, and Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction in the past day.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out nine attacks near Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Pleshchiivka, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 33 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Nikiforivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Toretske, Novye Shakhove, Udachne, Molodetske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne and towards the settlements of Hannivka, Novopavlivka and Shevchenko.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Kalynivske and Oleksandrovgrad.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 23 attacks by the invaders took place in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillya, Svyatopetrivka, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, Zaporizhzhia, Charivne, and Olenokostyantynivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to advance six times in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaki and Stepnohirsk.
In the Dnieper direction, our defenders successfully stopped three attacks towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilogrudy Island.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
