There were 208 clashes on the front: which direction is the hottest?

Over the past 24 hours, 208 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on September 16.

The enemy launched one missile strike with two missiles and 69 air strikes, dropping 130 guided bombs, on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements. In addition, it carried out 4,795 attacks, 130 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,865 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Zaliznychne, Veselyanka, Stepnohirsk, Lukyanivske in Zaporizhia region; Mykolaivka in Kherson region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck one area of concentration of personnel, a command post, and an artillery piece of the Russian invaders.

Seven clashes took place in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy launched one missile and 5 air strikes, used two missiles and dropped 14 guided bombs, and carried out 155 attacks, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, 20 clashes took place yesterday near Vovchansk, Vovchanskiye Khutory, Ambarne, Odradne, and Krasny Pershy.

In the Kupyansk direction, 11 attacks by the invaders took place over the past day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kindrashivka, Zagryzove and in the direction of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy attacked 17 times. He tried to advance towards the settlements of Seredne, Stavka and near Hrekivka, Derylovye, Shandryholovye, Kolodyazy, and Torske.

In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 17 enemy attacks over the past day. The occupier units tried to advance in the areas of Serebryanka, Hryhorivka and towards the settlements of Yampil and Dronivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, five clashes were recorded in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area and in the direction of Mykolaivka, Stupochok, and Bila Hora.

In the Torets direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks in the areas of Shcherbinivka, Katerynivka and in the direction of Ivano-Frankivsk, Pleshchiivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 54 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Zapovedne, Novoekonomichne, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne and in the direction of Zoloty Kolodyaz, Vilny, Chervony Lyman, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Promen, Zvirovoye, Molodetsky, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, and Filiya.

In the Novopavlivske direction, the Defense Forces repelled 34 enemy attacks near the settlements of Yalta, Shevchenko, Komyshuvakha, Vorone, Ternove, Novoivanivka and in the direction of Filia, Ivanivka, Iskra, Sichneve, Olhivske, Poltavka.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil direction.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked twice, in the Kamiansky area and in the direction of Novodanylivka.

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by the invaders.
