There were 231 clashes at the front: where the enemy is conducting the most active assaults

Over the past 24 hours, 231 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian troops have actively used aviation, drones, and artillery, and the situation remains most heated in several directions in the east and south.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on April 22.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 78 air strikes, dropping 287 guided bombs. In addition, it used 7,067 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,810 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 65 from multiple rocket launcher systems.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of settlements in Sumy region – Yastrubshchyna, Pavlivka; in Dnipropetrovsk region – Malomykhailivka, Kolomyytsi, Havrylivka, Novooleksandrivka; in Zaporizhia, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Hulyaipilske, Dolynka, Pologi, Kopany, Svyatopetrivka, Lisne, Novoselivka, Charivne, Yurkivka and Orikhiv were affected by airstrikes.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck seven areas of manpower concentration and an enemy UAV control point.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out four air strikes using nine anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 94 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including three using MLRS.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units five times in the Prylipka area and towards Bochkovo, Okhrimivka, and Starytsia.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the area of Novoosynovo and towards Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 10 times, attacking towards the settlements of Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova, Novosergiyevka, and Zarichne.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped two attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, according to updated information, the occupiers attacked seven times in the areas of Nikyforivka, Golubivka, Bondarne, Maiske, Vasyutynske, Udachny, and Markovye.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, according to updated information, the enemy carried out 29 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Ivano-Pol and towards Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, Kucherovy Yar and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 51 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Bilytske, Nikonorivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Vasylivka, and Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked 15 times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivkagrad, Sichneve, Zlagoda, Andriivka-Klevtsove and towards Kalynivka.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 14 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Zaliznychne, Svyatopetrivka, Hirky, Hulyaipilske, Staroukrainka, and Zeleny.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped six enemy attempts to advance towards Shcherbakiv, Plavniv, Stepnohirsk, and Promorsk.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy carried out four assault operations in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge, Bilogruy Island, and Kruhlyk Island.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
