The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 08:00 on October 6, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 231 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Yesterday, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck three areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.
Yesterday, the enemy launched a massive missile and air strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements with 53 missiles and 56 air strikes, dropping 130 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it involved 5,490 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,063 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 121 from multiple launch rocket systems. The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Zaliznychne, Zaporizhzhia, Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region and Antonivka in Kherson region.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled twelve Russian attacks. The enemy launched three air strikes, dropped a total of seven guided bombs, and carried out 155 artillery attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, 31 clashes took place in the South-Slobozhansk direction in the areas of Vovchanskiye Khutory, Odradne, Bologivka, Kutkivka, Krasny Pershy, Kamyanka, and Zapadne.
Eight attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Kupyansk direction. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked twelve times, trying to advance near the settlements of Seredne, Novoselivka, Karpivka, Torske and towards Cherneschyna and Drobysheve.
In the Siversky direction, the aggressor attacked near Yampol, Hryhorivka, Viyimka, and Fedorivka. In total, thirteen clashes occurred over the past day.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Chasovy Yar and Stupochy.
In the Torets direction, the enemy carried out seventeen attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Kalynovoy, Kleban-Byk, Shcherbynivka, Rusyny Yar, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovske direction, our defenders stopped 57 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Sukhetske, Zvirovo, Nykanorivka, Zolotoy Kolodyaz, Rodynske, Chervony Lyman, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Kozatske, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Zatyshok and in the direction of Pokrovska and Filiya.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 42 enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Myrne, Piddubne, Novoselivka, Sichneve, Novoyehorivka, Ternove, Sosnivka, Komyshuvakha, Vorone, Maliivka, Berezove, Kalynivske, Novomykolaivka, Novohryhorivka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, four combat clashes were recorded near the settlement of Poltavka.
Six combat clashes took place in the Orikhiv direction – the enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Plavni and Stepove.
In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks in the direction of the Antoniv Bridge.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and also actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
By the way, over the past 24 hours, the losses of the Russian occupation forces amounted to 1,090 people . The Ukrainian Defense Forces also neutralized five tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 18 artillery systems, an air defense system, 363 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 38 missiles, and 63 units of enemy vehicles.
