There were 249 combat clashes on the front: which directions are the hottest?

Russian troops continue to exert active pressure on the front. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 249 enemy attacks. The fiercest fighting took place in the Pokrovsky and Hulyay-Pil directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on June 2.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 91 air strikes, dropping 317 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,007 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,342 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 59 from multiple rocket launcher systems.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck 13 areas of manpower concentration and one other important enemy target.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, four clashes took place over the past day, the aggressor carried out 6 air strikes using 18 anti-aircraft guns, and carried out 76 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including eight using MLRS.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 13 times near Veterinarne, Staritsa, Prylipka, Lyman, Synelnykovye, Vovchanskiye Khutor, and Zybyne.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance near Kurylivka, Boguslavka, and towards Kupyansk-Vuzlovye.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 10 times near Kopanky, Novomykhailivka, Drobyshevy, Zarichny, Lyman, Ozerny, and Yampol.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed 10 times, near Zakitne, Kalenykivka, Riznykivka, and towards Kryvaya Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy made two futile attempts to dislodge our defenders from the positions they occupied in the area of the settlement of Nikiforivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 10 attacks, near Ivano-Frankivsk, Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Mykolaipill, Kucherovy Yar and Novy Shakhovy.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 56 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Dorozhnye, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyny, Molodetsky, Udachny, Muravka, Horikhovoe and towards the settlements of Novy Donbas, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked three times in the Verbovye and Voskresenka areas.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 35 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Zlagoda, Dobropillya, Olenokostyantynivka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and in the direction of Kosivtsevo, Rizvdyanka, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, and Verkhnya Tersa.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Orikhiv direction.
In the Dnieper direction, our defenders successfully stopped two assault actions towards the Antoniv Bridge.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
