There were 267 combat clashes at the front: where the enemy attacked most actively

Last year, the Ukrainian military repelled 267 attacks by the Russian occupiers. The enemy massively used kamikaze drones, aviation, and artillery. The fiercest battles were fought in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 26.

Yesterday, the enemy launched four missile strikes, using four missiles, carried out 79 air strikes, and dropped 254 guided bombs.

In addition, it used 8,684 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,848 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 54 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the area of the settlement of Tovstodubov, Sumy region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck two drone control points, three personnel concentration areas, an artillery system, a material and technical equipment storage warehouse, and one other important enemy facility.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, three clashes took place over the past day, the enemy carried out 80 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units eleven times in the areas of the settlements of Lyman, Hraniv, Starytsia, Grafske, Radkivka, Okhrimivka, and Kolodyazne.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped seven enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk, Kivsharivka, Novoosinove, Podoli, and Borivska Andriivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 17 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Novomykhaylivka, Dibrova, Drobysheve, Stavky, Yampil, Novovodyanye, and Ozerne.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped five attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attack in the Minkivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and towards Mykolaivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 47 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Vilne, Kutuzivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske, Sofiivka, Kucheriv Yar, Zatyshok, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked twice in the area of the settlement of Verbovye.

In the Hulyaipil direction, 24 attacks by the invaders took place in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillya, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Zlagoda, Rybne, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Charivne, Rivnopillya, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, and Vozdvizhivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to advance six times in the areas of the settlements of Bilogirya, Novoandreyevka, and Shcherbaki.

In the Prydniprovs’ky direction, our defenders successfully stopped two attacks towards the Antonivs’kyi Bridge.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
